Collection & Delivery
Delivery Times:
95% of our standard
courier service deliveries are
delivered next working day, however this is not a time
guaranteed service and compensation can only be paid for time
guaranteed services booked as time guaranteed separately via our
staff (This will also show on the label provided). Consignments
collected and/or delivered in certain
remote areas in Scotland, Wales, Cornwall and Offshore Islands
may be subject to a 24-hour delay.
Transit times can be checked
for a booked
service if a collection or delivery is
to or from a remote address.
Confirmation:
Collections can only be booked for next working day
or working days in advance (Mon-Fri)
and you will receive an instant confirmation with the collection
details, delivery details and the item being collected and
the service cost paid. You will
then receive confirmation that your courier service has been
logged on to our system and you will also
receive a barcoded label with
the delivery address before 8am on the day of collection at the
latest (normally the day before). The
courier can also text you a time
window for a collection if a mobile
number is added when booking and it is
requested.
Booking:
You can use our
instant Quote & Book system on our website to receive a standard
courier service

can contact us directly if you cannot see the
collection/delivery or the service
required or if you have any questions click

Times/Rebookings:
Collections & Deliveries are made on Working days only,
and between 8am - 6pm (Saturday deliveries are
available at an extra cost, this option is available if
you contact us before booking). If the collection fails or you
need to change it for any reason please contact us via our
webform

[Here]. We will then rearrange another collection date which
is convenient to the sender. Please note: We cannot rearrange a
collection for the same day, weekends or after 5:30pm.
Collections:
We can collect and deliver
from and to any private or business
address but we do require a full and correct street address and
house number/name. If there is a door access code required for
the collection or delivery please add the details to the "Notes"
section of the booking form or contact us directly before the
collection is due. We cannot deliver or collect to or from a PO
Box and international courier services
will need to be arranged directly with us in advance.

Guaranteed services:
In
respect of a late delivery on a time guaranteed service the
customer may claim a refund of the consignment charges paid for
the service selected:
Guaranteed services 25% refund
Standard non-guaranteed (estimated)
services, no refund
Please note
that all guaranteed services start once the consignment is
collected. If the collection fails it is the customers
responsibility to inform Carpartcouriers, we will then re-book
for the next convenient date for the customer. No
refund/discount will be given for failed collections.
In the event the recipient is not at the delivery address
when the driver attempts to deliver
they will either leave with a neighbour or return the parcel to
the depot. Some of the carriers may leave a calling card
advising of the action that has been taken, but this is not
guaranteed.
Third Party Collections:
Third Party Collections/Three Way Collections/Freight Forward
Collections, this is where the customer is arranging a
collection from a remote address. It is the customers
responsibility to ensure there is somebody at the remote
collection address to hand the goods to the driver. The customer
may incur a surcharge if an attempted collection is made from a
third-party address
too many times. Track & Trace will not work until the
package has been collected, therefore it is the customers
responsibility to keep informed by the person at the collection
address when the parcel has been collected or
if collection has failed and it needs to be rebooked.
Customs Clearance:
You are pre-paying
for the postage charges of your consignment/s only.
Carpartcouriers.co.uk has no control
over any customs queries or charges that may arise. Customs
charges must be paid in addition by the sender or receiver
before delivery is made. Carpartcouriers.co.uk reserve the right to pass these charges
directly onto the person that placed the order. If you do not
wish to pay the charges and the consignment is returned, all
return charges will also be passed on and any
customs charges will be passed on in
addition should they arise.
We may supply documentation to
accompany your shipment. You will be advised of this at the time
of ordering. This must go with the shipment, if not your
shipment could be delayed, and the
carrier may well charge you a higher premium direct.
Surcharges:
By agreeing to the weight of
your consignment/s you are pre-paying
for the postage. If the consignment/s is heavier or larger, the
additional weight will be charged, or
the delivery could also be held or returned.
Please ensure
you are in and the parcel is ready for collection, failed
collections and deliveries can be rebooked free of charge but if
this happens continuously the service could be cancelled and
surcharged.
If the consignment/s needs
to be returned and this is no fault of
the courier but the fault of the sender, recipient or a third
party booking the service from us,
then the return charge is chargeable in some cases.
